PROJECT MANAGER- GROUP CARDS (Tallinn)

Swedbank Group Cards is a major actor in Europe on the card payments arena, and a Group wide unit within the new business area Group Business Support. Group Cards is responsible for all issues within the cards area at Swedbank Group, from product development to product delivery and support, handling operations in Estonia, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden and giving support to Russia and Ukraine.

Group Cards was established as a proper Group unit in April 2010 and has now finalized the transfer process. Within Swedbank is Group Cards responsible for providing turn-key ready card issuing and acquiring products in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Denmark. The objectivities of Group Cards include both business development as well as internal consolidation aspects. During coming years Group Cards will go through a transformation process to enrich the product offering as well as create a substantial internal consolidation.

PROJECT MANAGER- GROUP CARDS

About the position

The unit Business Architecture at Group Cards is now looking for experienced Project Managers to meet the challenges in a Group wide product organization.

Your role as a Project Manager will be to lead the scoping, planning and delivering of various kinds of projects. The projects will vary in their nature of product area, extent of IT involvement as well as geographical reach.

As an experienced project manager you share the banks values and is a strongly committed team player with a drive to always deliver values to the your stakeholders. You are solution oriented and can work independently and/or from a distance.

Since English is the working language you need to be fluent in written and spoken English.

Main responsibilities are:

  • to scope, plan and deliver projects;
  • to organize and to manage project team;
  • to communicate with the internal and external stakeholders;
  • to arrange steering of development projects and to report about the results to project owners.

You are welcome to apply if you:

  • are communicative, goal-oriented and enthusiastic;
  • have at least 5 years experience in managing projects or programs;
  • are structured and well organized;
  • are able to manage team from a distance;
  • are able to travel;
  • have readiness to work in an international and cross-border environment.
